(verified owner)First was the screw in slot for the wires. This was a nicer and cleaner install without having to use a lot of wire nuts. They were also intelligent enough to space the second gang from the first. It appears they use the same housing for all their switches, so you see L1, L2, L3, and L4 even if you have a two gang switch. They put L1 where it’s supposed to be of course, and put L2 over in L3 giving a bit of space. Much appreciated! Second, it accepts a neutral wire just fine and makes it work beautifully. The included capacitor is only needed if you do not have a neutral wire in your box. The instructions state you do not wire it in with the wires at the box, but up near the light. (A bit more work than I would have wanted to do!) Third, THE LIGHTS! A nice soothing blue circle when the switches are off turns to a nice red circle when on. And the nice tap to turn on and off! No flip and no click! Just a nice tap! Following the instructions with my Smart Life app, I was able to pair it on the first attempt and gave Alexa a test run. Whatever you name the light(s) in the app, is what you tell Alexa to turn on or off! I can also brag about how beautifully flush it is with the wall when you snap the cover on! There are some things you have no problem recommending to your friends and family, and then there are things like this where you have to show it off a bit!
Get this, there’s a funny looking tab near the top right labeled SVC and has a circle with a lightning bolt. Tap it and it allows you to put the energy use in. So if you have a light only, this could be extremely useful. If you have a single light with an 11w LED bulb, this will give you an accurate metering and share the energy consumption data with you. Probably not as useful for my setup with two dimmable LED ceiling fan lights on each switch. Still; a thoughtful addition!
