The brightness per bulb seems comparable to your average household bulb. They can easily be dimmed to your desired level.

There are many color settings; you can use the Kelvin scaler for cool white to warm white light or you can use the RGB scaler for colorful light.

The app also allows you to do effects (e.g. strobe), sync to music, adjust/turn on and off according to a schedule, and more.

The Feit app for Samsung functions well in my experience. I linked my Feit account to my Google home so I can use Google assistant to adjust the lights.

I like that you can create rooms in the app to assign/group your bulbs. You can change the name of each bulb and even set a photo for it.

Of course, it relies on a Wi-fi network so they don’t respond when there is no internet. From what I can tell, you can manually switch them on and off if connected to a switch, lamp, etc. if your Wi-fi goes out.

Beware though because if you switch on and off quickly a few times, it could put the bulb into bluetooth pairing mode making it flash until the internet is back on and it can connect to a network again.

Good value for the money (compared to others). Easy to install/setup. Works well w iPhone 15. And is pretty responsive. I mostly use the white and red lights for daytime and sleeping. The only complaint is really with the Alexa app…I have a house and an apartment. The Alexa app mixes the items in both homes under “one roof” if that makes sense. Sorry, I’m new to this stuff, and I’m not sure if I’m explaining it well. But, if you have 2 homes, it’s a bit tricky because it’s not separated in the Alexa app. So, I have the lights in my apartment and my video-doorbell and cameras in my house. The app kind of shows them as a combined system, and not 2 separate homes. That’s being said, it is compatible with Alexa, so maybe you won’t run into the same problems I have.

We have been changing out all of the lights where we live to run off of our alexa setup, mostly because everyone forgets to turn off lights and installing dimmer switches is a huge pain for when we want it calm and relaxed. This is the third company we have tried and I have to say that they have the best and easiest app for pairing the bulbs, they paired quickly and easily, and they had the option to pair multiple devices at once, which many smart bulb apps do not.

This would be a good choice for anyone, especially if you’re just starting to add smart devices to your home. The product is fantastic, the app is easy to use and it gives easy to understand directions to pair and use these bulbs within minutes.

**also please forgive how hideous my ceiling fan is, I just tried the bulbs and wanted to take a pic even though we are renovating lol – the ceiling is going to get painted and the fan is getting new sconce shades but until then at least the bulbs look fantastic!

Easiest setup of a IOT device I’ve had. It instantly connected to my phones Bluetooth and the directions in app were easy to follow and quick. The whole setup, including Alexa integration which was the longest part, took maybe 2-3 minutes. The response time of the device was insanely fast and so far has worked flawlessly. It is the smallest size smart plug I have found and allows it to be placed on a power strip and still be able to use the other outlets. I would definitely buy again and wouldn’t mind buying other Govee products.
